“Before writing Review, below posted booking confirmation slip from jp castle. My experience at JP Cattle Farmstay was absolutely terrible. The food was of extremely low quality, and Chef Raju showed no interest in maintaining taste or hygiene standards. The overall hospitality was shocking—security arrangements were poor, and the watchman behaved arrogantly with rude language, making the stay uncomfortable and unsafe. The swimming pool was not maintained properly, with broken steps posing a clear safety risk. They even had a projector that didn’t work, and the remote was broken too. There was no WiFi at all, which is unacceptable in this era. On top of everything, the staff kept demanding extra money for every small thing, even for basic necessities like drinking water. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful or comfortable stay.”

Lunch was served only at 5 PM, which is unacceptable. Even after that, tea and starters were not provided till late night, despite repeated follow-ups. The staff was unresponsive, and it felt like we were completely ignored. There was no proper service throughout the stay. We felt cheated after choosing this place based on the promises made. This is not a place to relax or enjoy—highly mismanaged and misleading. I strongly recommend others to stay away from this property. Don’t waste your money or your time here.”

“Updated Review: Thanks for your reply but let us be honest about what actually happened. First of all, you never informed us that your regular chef was not available. We only found out a day before the trip, in the afternoon, when we called to discuss the menu. That last-minute update made it very difficult for us to arrange all the groceries and especially meat and seafood, since your replacement chef clearly said he would not arrange anything himself. You then brought in a chef from your friend’s resort who never even visited our villa. All the cooking was done somewhere else and brought in late. That is why lunch was served at 4:30 PM and tea or snacks came with dinner at 9 PM. Here is the thing. We clearly told the chef multiple times to at least arrange two starters first, and we mentioned that lunch being a bit late was okay. But even that was ignored. Despite repeated instructions and follow-ups, no one paid attention. That shows not just poor planning but a complete lack of concern. Saying you fired the chef the next day does not really mean anything. He was not your staff and you had no control over him. What is worse is that you never admitted upfront that a chef would not be present at the villa. If you had told us, we would have either cancelled or come prepared. But instead, you chose not to say anything, which feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid cancellation. No plates, no utensils, oily and salty food, wrong dishes served. We asked for fish fry and got fish curry, and non-stop follow-ups for every meal. The entire experience was stressful and frustrating, far from what was promised or paid for. This is not just about one bad chef. It is about how your management failed at every step - communication, responsibility, and basic service. We did not come here to chase people for food or cook our own meals. We came for a break and ended up dealing with chaos. They ask you to bring a massive list of grocery items even basic things which defeats the purpose of staying at a so called “villa with service.” The cook they assign doesn’t understand what you say, messes up every order, and worse, you have to keep chasing them just to get food delivered. Lunch was served at 5:30 PM, evening tea and snacks at 9 PM along with dinner. By that time, we were already tired, irritated, and starving. Despite repeated calls, messages, and reminders, they didn’t care. You’re forced to follow up constantly like you’re begging for the service you already paid for. And don’t expect any basic support no plates, no utensils, nothing is provided. You have to carry literally everything. For what?????? A premium price and a horrible stay. We asked for something as simple as fish fry, they brought fish gravy. Either they don’t understand or just don’t care. The management is clueless. They don’t answer phone calls, they disappear when you need help, and they have no interest in resolving issues. The entire setup is poorly run and unprofessional from top to bottom. If you’re looking to relax or have a good time with family or friends, this is the last place you should consider. We left frustrated, disappointed, and honestly, cheated. Avoid this place at all costs.”
